Fire TRAINING

ADMS is the answer if you are tasked with fire training, teaching, assessing, enhancing, or rehearsing the skills of firefighters or fire departments involved in fire command, incident and disaster management.

For nearly 28 years, ADMS has been instrumental in training thousands of fire officers, firefighters, and fire vehicle drivers in best practices of tactical and strategic response including rescue, firefighting, extrication, hazmat training, tactical ventilation, water relay, urban search and rescue, and emergency vehicle operation.

Multi level operations

Use ADMS as a single or a multi-discipline incident command training tool with other first responders. It can support strategic level fire training for large scale operations, as well as individual firefighter and fire officer training and assessment. Achieve complete fire department training with ADMS, including firefighters, drivers, vehicle commanders, and fire officers.

ADMS can provide a team fire training system using various hardware layouts that include Incident Command, Field Unit stations, and Vehicle stations. Other emergency response services can play a part in the training experience, with the goal of complete continuity across all agencies, striving for the best possible outcome.

Variety of fire scenarios

ADMS provides firefighting scenarios allowing for real-time response to virtual situations. Confront firefighters with building fires, collapsed buildings, tunnel fires, subway fires, hazmat incidents, road traffic accidents, fuel farm fires, ship, aircraft, train, nuclear and power plants, and forest fire incidents.

Customize the virtual environments by using the Instructor Toolset, including hazards, fire spread, weather conditions, time of day, and traffic levels. Available resources, including vehicles and personnel, can be tailored to match your organizational assets. These customizations make your ADMS training experience scalable and unique to your fire training needs.

Fire physics

The physics-based simulation makes the fires, smoke, and hazardous materials behave as they do in real life. The crews and bystanders behave realistically due to the embedded artificial intelligence. Training with ADMS is realistic, and the trainees experience the consequences of their decisions as they would in real-life situations.

Emergency Response Driving Simulator

Train emergency response driving with our ERDS simulator, entirely based on ADMS, and optimized for educating driving trainees without the risk involved in practical exercises. The road system and Smart Model Library allow for the flexible and easy creation of challenges that drivers will experience in real life, such as crossings, pedestrians, and roadblocks. Instructors have easy control of the traffic flow, traffic lights, and weather conditions. We simulate various types of emergency vehicles, responses to emergency vehicles such as splitting lanes, pulling over, and ignoring the blue lights. Unlike other driving simulators, users have full access to the environment to drive around and get to the scene.
